TRC Senior Village Powers & Sons performed General Contracting services for this seven story load bearing precast and masonry structure. The building is the first phase of a three phase senior village project to be constructed by this community service organization. The building consists of 70 single residency units that will help house the aging population on the City of Chicago’s near South side. This project will incorporate several green building elements and is pursuing a LEED Certification. |

Mahalia Place Powers & Sons provided General Contracting services for this 110, 18 building development, on Chicago’s South side in the Kenwood neighborhood. The development was designed with a variety of building facades and layouts, so that the new structures would blend into the architectural fabric of the existing community. The buildings were constructed with load bearing metal framing, masonry veneer exterior walls and vinyl/aluminum windows. |

Savoy Square This was the 4th phase of the Brinshore & Michaels Development Company’s Robert Taylor Homes redevelopment. This project consisted of the environmental remediation of “unsuitable soils and the construction of 138 units of affordable housing contained in 19 three story buildings with a management office on the City of Chicago’s near south side. The buildings are constructed load bearing metal framing, masonry veneer, energy efficient exterior and interior components, vinyl/aluminum windows, along with energy star efficient appliances. |

RED MAPLE GROVE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT Indianapolis, Indiana Located on the Southside of Indianapolis, Red Maple Grove is a mixed income housing community that was developed in three phases. This community has 60 buildings with a total of 130 apartment units. Also included in this development was a community center with a workout room, swimming pool, and tennis courts. |

THE RENAISSANCE COLLABORATIVE Chicago, Illinois General Contracting Services were provided for the comprehensive renovation of this historic 5 story YMCA Facility into a 100 single resident occupancy building. This restoration included the replication of the original 1913 building design inside and out, inclusive of 3 residential floors, 2 floors that house the YMCA facility, fitness center, gym, swimming pool, day care center and administrative offices. |

Indiana Manor General construction services were provided for this 12 unit apartment development. The project consisted of wood framing and masonry veneer, aluminum windows, energy efficient roof and appliances, ornamental fencing and solar panels. |

Coleman Place Powers & Sons provided general contracting services for this 118 units, 20 building, residential housing development. The buildings were constructed with load bearing metal framing, masonry veneer exterior walls and vinyl/aluminum windows. Powers & Sons self performed the site remediation / excavation, as well as finish carpentry work. |

Normal Parkway Homes Chicago, Illinois General Contracting services were provided for this multi-family dwelling on the Southwest side of Chicago. Sites 1 and 2 are 3-story units and sites 3 and 4 are 4-story units, yielding a total of 40 units. This project is designed to enhance the Englewood Community and provide housing for local residents. Construction started in mid November 2003 and was completed in November 2004 |
